Ben Green BSc

Founder and CEO

Over the past 15 years I have facilitated fitness and wellbeing coaching programmes to hundreds of children, young people and families within the education sector, community and online.

Since the age of 15 I have been actively involved in youth and community work, I have always thrived off helping others feel healthy, happy and confident.

Throughout my school years I really struggled to concentrate, processing information was difficult and my academic levels were fairly poor as a result.  Fitness training and playing sport helped me massively, this helped to reduce unwanted behaviour through pure frustration. I felt alive when I was being physical, I was motivated, I had more confidence and this helped my self-esteem massively. Playing sport at an elite level helped me to manage my ADHD and mental health. As a result, I helped many others in my school to do the same.

Fast forward to now….I have been a personal trainer for 14 years, I also completed a HE Diploma in youth and community work (JNC) and a degree in children and youth studies (BSc) Activ8tion have also been awarded a national diversity award (best community organisation) & shortlisted for a European diversity award.

Over the years of fitness training and playing competitive sport, what I have come to really realise is the impact it has on someone’s mental health and how this helps someone to make informed life choices. My approaches to coaching has supported young people who have various needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Bi-polar, anxiety, depression. Also supporting young people who are thriving aspiring athletes who needed that extra support to push them to the next level.

I have coached in many different settings such as; schools, nurseries, pupils referral units, secure units, SEND schools, clinical teams, community settings and online.

My approach to wellbeing coaching is interactive, fun, personable, I understand that all children and young people have different needs and are not always at the same milestone. Lastly, having a positive relationship with parents/carers is paramount, as whatever the child/young person learns in the sessions must be implemented into the family home and everyday life.
